This section covers the platform's view of paired Devices: how they get paired, what scopes they carry, where they appear, how they get disconnected, and how their health is tracked.

• Pairing — the three pairing entry points and one backend protocol.
• Device grants — scopes on a Host Link.
• Device inventory — system.devices.devices.list/get/heartbeat/runtimes.*.
• Disconnect / unlink — revoke flow and downstream effects.
• Device health — heartbeat protocol, online/offline computation.
